Visit of the old Honfleur, the Vieux Bassin, the Lieutenance

A short walk to discover all the facets of this charming town in Normandy.

Honfleur is located in Normandy on the estuary of the Seine. It is not far from the Pont de Normandie and 2 hours from Paris. The old town is remarkably well preserved and attracts a large number of tourists. Honfleur is not located on the sea and the beaches are a bit far from the center. What seems at first to be a handicap is rather an asset because Honfleur has developed an important artistic center with many galleries and art shops. You can visit Honfleur at any time of the year and walk through its narrow streets which have kept the charm of the past. Honfleur is very well known and very touristy and it is sometimes difficult to find a place for your car on busy days despite the impressive number of parking spaces. The number of restaurants is also quite impressive, you will have the choice.
