Taizé is a tiny village in the Burgundy countryside where a monastic community of 75 monks from 25 different countries has settled. The aim of the community is to bring together all Christians, whether Catholic or Protestant. The community is very open to the outside world as it welcomes many young people who come to spend a week in prayer, there are prayers at 8am, 12pm and 8pm every day. The highlights of the year are Pentecost and Ascension. You can go inside the site and visit the chapel. The Official Site
