Visit of the village of Brancion

Brancion is a medieval village located in Burgundy

Brancion is a "medieval" village located on top of a hill with a small castle. The only positive point is the big parking at the entrance of the village, you have to walk 200 meters to reach the castle. The visit of the castle is paying and not very interesting (most of the castle is in ruins), the visit of the village can be done in 20 minutes, the small church is charming but it does not really deserve the detour. In July there is a medieval festival which is worth seeing.
