The lake of Pannecière

The lake of Pannecière is an artificial lake which is used to regulate the Yonne to avoid the floods in Paris. It is a lake rather intended for the fishermen. It is really necessary to appreciate the countryside to find charm in the lake of Pannecière, it is the biggest lake of Morvan but it does not seem immense because it is very cut out. There is almost nothing to facilitate the visit of the tourist or the hiker. The bathing is authorized but there is no beach, there are very few restaurants and there are no indications of hiking paths. The lake of Pannecière is reserved for the lovers of peace and quiet. If you are looking for something else do not come to the lake of Pannecière. You can prefer the lake of Settons a little more tourist.
