Tour of the North lake of Enghien-les-Bains

This hike starts from the beautiful lake of Enghien and ends at the North lake

The hike is very easy, it is easily accessible by train, the SNCF station of Enghien being very close to the lake. There are departures every half hour (depending on the period) from the Gare du Nord. You can also go pedal boating and sailing on the lake of Enghien. A good idea for a Sunday afternoon stroll.

Departure from Enghien Casino — The departure is in front of the casino theater of Enghien, the only casino of Ile-de-France. The entrance is paying and it is not given, it is necessary to pay at least 12 euros for the entrance!

Beltway Avenue — We leave in direction of the North lake by passing the Avenue of Belt. The road does not allow to make the turn by remaining on the banks. They are private properties which border the lake. Too bad!

Promenade Eric Tabarly — One arrives at the end of the lake of Enghien. One often finds fishermen at this place. The North lake will be on the right.

Beginning of the North Lake — The North lake is in the continuity of the lake of Enghien. Much smaller than the main lake, it extends over the towns of Saint-Gratien and Soissy-sous-Montmorency.
