Walk in Montmorency

Walk in Montmorency through the historic center

Montmorency is 12 kms from Paris. It is a city in the countryside. Nature, parks and gardens are present even in the city center. With a very uneven terrain, Montmorency became a sought-after vacation spot in the 17th century and attracted many celebrities, including Jean-Jacques Rousseau. It is preferable to come by car. The only train station is Enghien les bains (12 minutes from the Gare du Nord), which is quite far from downtown Montmorency. A bus line (15M) connects the station of Enghien to the town hall of Montmorency.
