The lake of Sainte Marguerite

The lake of Sainte Marguerite is a pretty mountain lake at 2227m located on the resort of Les Orres (Hautes-Alpes).

This is the great hike to do from Les Orres. It is very easy to access, it is not possible to get lost because it is very well marked. It is suitable for all ages (although you still have to walk for 4 hours). There is a large parking lot at the starting point of the hike.

The forest road — The hike starts at the Pra Paisset parking lot. The direction is well indicated by signs. You can't go wrong.

The way back — To go back to the resort of Les Orres 1800, you can come back by the same way but you can also come back by another more beautiful way on a small mountain path. You have to go back on your steps and then at the first signpost there is an intersection, the path is not indicated by a sign, there are blue circles on the ground.
