The BeauPassage in Paris

Le BeauPassage is a new, friendly and trendy place where you can find many restaurants.

The creation of Le BeauPassage (nice passage in English) is recent (2019). During the renovation of the area some real estate developers decided to install restaurants and snacks-bars in passages and backyards that had no charm. Le BeauPassage is located rue du Bac in Paris in a bourgeois district so the restaurants are quite chic. You can find some of the great names of French cuisine: Thierry Marx, Yannick Alléno, Anne-Sophie Pic...It's a nice place to visit. There are also a lot more to visit in the same street : The street of the Bac (Rue du Bac)

The entrance to the Beaupassage

The entrance to the Beaupassage
To get to the BeauPassage you can take the metro line 12: Stop Rue du Bac or the metro line 4: Stop Saint-Sulpice. There is an entrance at 83, rue du Bac. Be careful, the entrance is not very big. You can pass without seeing it.

The backyards

 The backyards
The nice passage is not always very nice. The different restaurants are spread out in small courtyards.

Thierry Marx's shop

 Thierry Marx's shop
Thierry Marx has a TV show in France. Curious concept there is a bakery/pastry associated with a kind of snack where you can eat some dishes at mealtimes. Hence the name "De la cuisine et du pain". (The kitchen and the bread).

At Thierry Marx's

 At Thierry Marx's
Nothing to say the bakery is excellent, the very good tropezian tart can almost make you a meal. On the other hand, coffee is not worthy of pastry, in 2020 how can we propose coffees and chocolates of unknown origin? Hot chocolate looks like Nesquik! Moreover everything is disposable, plastic everywhere!

The Allénothèque

The Allénothèque
The Allegothèque is a contemporary bistro run by Yannick Alléno.

Pierre Hermé

 Pierre Hermé
We no longer present the macaroons of Pierre Hermé, the (small) terrace is very pleasant in the beautiful season.

This restaurant defines itself as a "street food of the sea" in Paris.

Anne-Sophie Pic's Daily Pic

 Anne-Sophie Pic's Daily Pic
The only woman in France with 3 Michelin stars. It's not a restaurant but a snack where you can sit and eat some dishes in verrine (glasses). Perfect for a quick lunch. The Beaupassage has a wide range of quality restaurants, so you are sure to find what you are looking for.
