Le Grand Port — You can go on a cruise on the Lac du Bourget, there is a company that offers departures from the Grand Port for a tour of the lake or to visit the abbey of Hautecombe.

The Esplanade du Lac

The Esplanade du Lac — One walks along the lake under the plane trees.

On the other side

On the other side — On one side you have a magnificent view of the lake, on the other side unfortunately you walk along a square without any charm.

The lakefront

The lakefront — There is no beach and therefore no way to swim in the summer. The pontoon on the picture is reserved for fishermen.

The restaurants — All along the esplanade you can find small restaurants.

The Little Port

The Little Port — After a short walk we reach the Petit Port. Next to it is the municipal beach called "Aqualac", the entrance is not free (6 euros in summer). It is a complex that includes a beach on the lake and a swimming pool for swimming all year round. It is sad to note that one cannot swim in the lake without paying. You have to go further.
