The Forclaz pass near Annecy

The col de la Forclaz is located just next to the lake of Annecy, not far from Talloires. The ascent from the lake must be done by car, there is a way to go up on foot but it is not very interesting. The col de la Forclaz is located at 1157 meters and the road to the top is easy. Once at the top there is a small parking lot which can be quickly full because it is very crowded during the summer. It is nevertheless quite easy to park by going away a little. You can then discover a magnificent point of view on the lake of Annecy, you can also after 15 minutes of walk go to the site of takeoff of the paragliders. If you pass in the area, do not hesitate to make a detour to admire the panorama.
