Grand moulins de Paris - Jardin abbé Pierre

A little walk near the former Grands Moulins de Paris. The renovated buildings are part of the Diderot University (Paris VII).

This walk, pleasant on a Sunday afternoon, is located around the garden of the big mills. This garden is part of the Paris Rive Gauche complex. Paris Rive Gauche, or Seine Rive Gauche, is a new district of Paris (ZAC) which occupies the part of the 13th district located between the railway tracks of the Paris-Austerlitz station and the Seine, up to the ring road. Part of the surface was recovered by covering the railway tracks. The first building, built in the 1990s, was the National Library of France. The district alternates office buildings, mainly banks, residential buildings, interspersed with green spaces.
