The pond of Noës

The pond of Noës is a pretty pond located in the Chevreuse Valley.

The pond of Noës is not difficult to find, it is located next to the town of La Verrière, there is a small parking lot located at the entrance. The pond is a preserved space, the practice of the VTT is prohibited. You will find many fishermen along the banks, some even sleep on the spot (is this really allowed?). The walk around the lake could be much more interesting, we often go along fences and we don't have the impression to be in a protected environment. It remains nevertheless a pleasant walk for a Sunday morning if you are in the area.

The way to the abbey of Port-Royal des Champs

The path can take you to the abbey of Port-Royal des Champs. The hike is quite long and not very interesting, there are a lot of long straight lines. On the other hand it is a nice place for mountain biking.
