Walk in the park of the People of the Grass

The Peuple de l'Herbe park is the largest park in Yvelines, it is located in Carrières-sous-Poissy. It is a brand new park!

The parc du Peuple de l'Herbe is a new park in the Paris region. The park is very recent (opening in 2016). The parks reflect their time, the Bois de Boulogne is characteristic of the Second Empire, the Parc du Peuple de l'Herbe represents the present time, we will talk about biodiversity, natural space, wildlife, offices for the office of insects and their environment! At the same time 190 000 plantations have been realized in the park and the banks of the Seine are being developed with an alluvial bank. On a practical level, the park is very large, there is not much shade because there are few trees. There are two parking lots located on each side of the park. The visit is worth it.

One of the park's two parking lots is located not far from the playground. For a park that has just been built, one can expect better from the small playground. It's not even an elastic coating on the ground

Most of the park is located on a plain, there are few trees, in summer the sun can be very strong. Be careful, we are not in a Parisian park with a bar every 50 meters, here there is almost nothing and the park is huge. It is ideal for those who like peace and quiet because you will not be disturbed too much.

The houses of the park

There are a few chairs to sit on and 16 lounge chairs throughout the park (!) for those who want to relax. The plantations have not yet grown. Like all new parks, it will take a few years to see the final result. There is a parking lot located right next to the park houses if you want to visit only this part of the park.
