A visit to the Taittinger cellars in Reims

Most of the great Champagne houses (Veuve Clicquot, Pommery, Taittinger...) are located in the same area in Reims, they all offer visits open to individuals. The prices of the visits are about the same (about 20 euros), for this price you will get a free glass of champagne. The visits of the cellars are done in group, there are departures every quarter of an hour on weekends. As the tours take place in the cellars, the temperature is quite cool.

The Champagne House Taittinger — There is nothing exceptional about the building. The Maison Taittinger was built on the site of the Abbey and the church of Saint-Nicaise in Reims, which were destroyed after the French Revolution.
