Visit of the Villa Savoye and the city of Poissy

A visit to the town of Poissy and the famous Villa Savoye located 1 hour from the center of Paris

You can get to Poissy by public transport (RER) or by car. If you come by RER and you want to visit the Villa Savoye you will have to walk a little on a rather sloping road otherwise there is a big parking for your car just next to the Villa Savoye. You can then visit the city center which is located a little further. The walk is very nice along the Seine, you can admire the old bridge and the Collegiate Church of Poissy.

The Villa Savoye — The villa Savoye, which bears the name of the former owners, was built between 1928 and 1931 by La Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. It is classified as a historical monument since 1965. It was far ahead of its time.
