The kitchenware stores in Paris

A little shopping trip to find easily stores of cooking and pastry in Paris.

A little walk to find kitchen utensils (knives, pans, pots...) and pastry tools (molds, cutters...) in Paris. Finding the stores is not very difficult because they are almost all in the same street (there are of course others in Paris). They all sell the same thing although they have their own specificity. They also have other common points: they don't sell fresh products, you will only find products that can be easily preserved (powders, dyes, flavors...). The other common point is more embarrassing, it is the price of the utensils, they are all very expensive. They only sell quality and this is reflected in the bill. Baking enthusiasts will be over the moon in these stores especially if they have a strong wallet. You will find the stores Mora (certainly the most famous), La bovida, Deco Relief, E.Dehillerin.

C'est très bien, ils sont tous situés les uns à côté des autres.

To find the kitchen stores it is not very difficult, just get out of the metro or the RER at the station Châtelet-les-Halles and go towards the church Saint-Eustache, they are almost all next to the church.

A somewhat dated store with a large selection of kitchen and pastry utensils, there are many staff to help you choose. In 2021 Kamala Harris (the vice-president of the USA) was accused of buying 500 euros worth of kitchen utensils in this store during a trip to Paris.

Déco relief only offers pastry utensils and accessories, they present themselves as the specialists in pastry decor. If you are looking for cupcake molds or sugar dough you will surely find what you are looking for.

Mora has been selling cooking and baking utensils since 1814. It is certainly the most famous store on the street. A lot of choices, a lot of sellers in a rather small space. The customer service is more or less good according to the salesmen, do not expect too much to have answers to very technical questions about the kitchen.
