A pleasant stroll along the banks of the Oise at Isle-Adam in the Paris region.
L'Isle-Adam is a town located in the Paris region, 1 hour from the center of Paris. The famous plage de l'Isle-Adam dates back to the 1880's, it was in fact a fine sandy beach on the banks of the Oise. Nowadays it is a sports complex with a swimming pool (one does not bathe in the Oise any more) but one can always find around the basin the cabins which recall this time. Honoré de Balzac (1799-1850) visited Isle-Adam and described it as a "terrestrial paradise". Without going that far, we must admit that the walk along the banks of the Oise is very pleasant. You will also be able to take advantage of it to restore you because there are many restaurants.
