The Carnavalet Museum

One of the most beautiful Parisian museums in the heart of historical Paris and moreover it is free.

The Carnavalet museum is dedicated to the history of Paris but it can be of interest to everyone because the history of Paris is often linked to the history of France and the French. The rooms are organized according to the periods. The diversity of the objects presented is really the strong point of the museum, there are not only paintings and pictures, there are also many objects of the daily life.

The Carnavalet museum reopened in 2021 after 5 years of restoration, the content of the museum has not really changed but the indications on the History of France have become clearer and more concise. It is unfortunately a little difficult to find your way in all these rooms, it is the only small reproach that we could make (for information if you are looking for the toilets you must follow the indications "checkroom").

An essential visit if you come to Paris.
